#WeAreICA

Summer reading for K-9 students is particularly important in classical education, as it helps to cultivate a love of learning and critical thinking skills. Reading classic literature exposes students to timeless ideas and themes that are still relevant today, while also providing a foundation for future academic success. Additionally, summer reading can help students develop their vocabulary, writing skills, and overall comprehension, which are all essential elements of classical education.

All grade levels have 1 required book along with several others recommended. Each grade level will have a graded assignments & Socratic discussion about their required book upon return to school in August.
