Independence Classical Academy

The Independence Classical Academy Fundraising Gala is more than just a night of celebration—it's a pivotal moment for our Academy to bridge the dreams of students who need your help. As a charter school, we operate on a funding gap of roughly $1,500 per pupil, resulting in an average shortfall of $1M that we are required to generate on our own through grants, fundraising, or simply cutting expenses.  In addition to this shortfall, we are also required to pay for resources such as therapy services, food services, and our resource deputy out of pocket, which means we cannot pay our teachers as well, hire as many support personnel, or have the infrastructure many schools have.

ICA is seeking your support, we can close that gap and continue to provide a transformative education that empowers students to become entrepreneurs in business, statesmen in government, and leaders in their homes and communities. In order to do this, we will be hosting our 1st Annual Gala to both bring awareness to the students in most need and raise the funds needed to offer a rigorous academic program rooted in the virtues that is free to anyone who desires to seek the true, the good, and the beautiful within our walls!

At ICA, we believe in creating a safe, supportive, yet challenging environment where students thrive in a virtuous setting. Our school motto, "Where teachers can teach and students will learn," reflects our commitment to excellence and character development. But for many students at ICA (roughly 55% who qualify under the threshold of poverty), a little extra support is needed to truly make their dreams a reality. Whether it's for after-school enrichment programs, field trip scholarships, uniform help, or academic resources, we know that every bit of assistance goes a long way in helping our students succeed.
