ICA Expansion

Victor Hugo famously said "he who opens a school door closes a prison." With that in mind, Independence Classical Academy is proud to announce major plans for expansion! Our current campus expansion is set to open in 2024 and will mark Phase II of our growth plan. The expansion project will accommodate 200 additional students for a total of 725 in grades K-8.

The new expansion will include the construction of additional classrooms, creating space for a library, & an agriculture classroom. The ICA Board of Directors & Administration believes this expansion is necessary to meet the growing demand for classical education in the Fort Pierce area. The expansion of the current campus is just the beginning of ICA’s growth plans.

Phase III has already begun as well, with a facility site search for our Upper School Campus underway, projected to open in 2025. The Upper School Campus will house grades 6-12, a gym, student parking, and a barn!

ICA is excited about our growth plans and believes that the expansion will provide a unique and high-quality education to more students in the Fort Pierce area, as our current campus is at maximum capacity with a growing waitlist. Our commitment to classical education and our focus on developing well-rounded and successful students is unwavering and has contributed to our success and popularity in the community.

These expansion plans come at a time when the demand for classical education is on the rise. Parents are looking for alternative education options that emphasize critical thinking, reasoning, and communication skills. Independence Classical Academy is well-positioned to meet this demand and provide a high-quality education to K-12 students in the Fort Pierce area.
